The primary function of the AileyCamp committee is to evaluate and advise on policies, procedures, and services offered at AileyCamp. But most importantly, the Committee serves to provide a means to creating a supportive environment where AileyCamp staff can focus solely on the young people they were hired to serve. Thus, allowing staff to provide the care, attention, support, guidance, and safety to nurture self discovery and transform lives in six short weeks. This may include helping to coordinate or facilitate staff lunch one day a week, uniform preparation day, uniform distribution-first day of camp, transportation to and from the airport, etc.

Committee members are asked to attend committee meetings once each month during January, February, and March 2008 and twice each month in April and May 2008.
