Membership & Support

KCFAA was built around the vision and choreographic genius of Alvin Ailey. Worldwide audiences and critics alike, and especially those in Kansas City, agree that the mastery and beautiful artistry of Ailey performances are pure "magic."

A 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, KCFAA, the official second home of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, depends on the financial, in-kind and volunteer contributions of our generous partners, donors and friends to sustain our annual Ailey company residencies and programming for youth. Since 1984, KCFAA has exposed over one million people to the "Magic of Ailey."

Behind the "Magic" there are many ways to give:

Membership - Our members get great benefits, meet new friends, and their contributions subsidize arts education programming for over 35,000 students each year.

Volunteerism - Volunteers are KCFAA's greatest asset!

Corporate & Foundation Giving - Our corporate and foundation partners make our programs and performances possible.

Endowment for Arts Education - Sustaining the organization's programming into the future.

Tributes - Gifts in honor or in memory of a loved one or colleage.

Planned Giving - Leave the legacy for future generations.
